The art on the poster suggest that the film is going to be an epic. The poster shows a great city being attack by truly giant size monster spiders that are chasing a crowd of people.
Of course the monster in the movie is nothing like the monsters in the poster. It is a giant spider but not as big as the ones on the poster art. It is a funny looking live prop with 'bug' eyes. It was built over a Volkswagen and looks a lot like a parade float.
The monster spider attacks a small town. I saw this movie in a small theater in Chula Vista CA when the movie was first released and everyone in the theater was laughing when the giant spider came on screen and chased a crowd of people.
The film was directed by Bill Rebane the man who gave us the schlock sci fi classic MONSTER A GO GO.
