     THE BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS(1961) Directed and Written by Coleman Francis
     With Tor Johnson, Conrad Brooks and Anthony Cardoza.
     Those people who insist on calling PLAN 9 FROM OUTERSPACE(1959; Written and Directed by Edward D. Wood jr) have not seen the BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS.
     The films stars ex wrestler Tor Johnson as a Russian rocket scientist who is caught in the blast of an atomic bomb and becomes a maniac who kills everyone he comes across in the desert.
     The black and white movie was shot without sound and people in the film talk with cheap dubbed in voices. They talk when their backs are to the camera or off screen. Director Francis narrates the film. On the sound track you can hear him saying odd things.
     Aside from The Beast attacking people there is a pair of highway patrol men looking for the killer. At one point in the film they shoot at a man assume that he must be the killer because he is walking around the desert.
